 But somehow, all of the faces I met were just answering with a silent smile, and I was embarrassed and didn’t know where to look, but I think that’s probably a cultural difference.

 In the communal life of their lives, they were enjoying the nudity and skinship between people of the opposite sex who are not usually close to each other, as if they were different from our sentiments, without much care, concealment, or avoidance, but in a reasonable way.

 It would have been natural for us to be called “crazy” and to call the police these days, but for them, these human routines were reaching out to me in a more pure and beautiful way.

 Some of the ladies carry two heavy buckets on their shoulders, as they are silhouetted, and can only be described as fantastic, but two buckets full of river water, which seem too heavy to carry.

 Relying on a long bamboo pole that had only elasticity that could not be said to be watery, he hung the bucket from front to back and carried it on his shoulder, and the bewitching movements of his body and his light steps against the heaviness were so impressive.

 In Korea, too, it was a scene of a women’s salt house that could be seen at sunset at dusk, and it was a daily routine for women, and it was compared to the backside of women who had no choice but to twitch their buttocks while carrying water in a jar and carrying it on their heads.  

 Using their wrists to elbows, they carry a long bamboo pole that is exquisitely cut in half over their shoulders, holding one hand on the pole above their shoulders and the other hand slightly straight downwards to stand on their balance.

 But in the meantime, perhaps I had to make a quick defense, so I tried to wrap my shy smile and shout, “Ng-am! (It’s pretty!)” Then, waving one hand, he pointed to the young lady walking with a fork in her hand, and pretended not to do it.

 In other words, they scooped up the water and used it to make food, and of course, drank the water as it was. However, it is to put it in a slightly larger jar, let the impurities settle for a while, and gently scoop up the top water and eat it.

 I couldn’t help but wonder if I could drink the flowing water, the water that was cloudy and smelled fishy. The same is true in most rural villages in Laos, where drinking  water such as water supply and groundwater is not developed  .

 He said that if he didn’t pay extra money to get the drinking water, he needed most in life, he had no choice but to drink the water from the river as it was.

 During my travels, I also ran out of drinking water that I had bought from time to time, so I had no choice but to eat it, but fortunately, my body, which is specialized in the field, was not as problematic as I thought it would be, and I remember that I was fine without any problems.

 I understood the seriousness of it as a cultural difference. Somehow, the people of Laos cherish every drop of rainwater that falls from the sky, and on rainy days, every house is busy catching rainwater in large pots.

 I could see them using water sparingly in various ways, and I thought they were really reminding us of the scarcity and preciousness of water. However, when it comes to river water, no matter how clean it looks, it’s a problem to just eat it.

 The real problem is that if a Level 1 epidemic breaks out somewhere upstream, it will inevitably become serious in many down streams, especially for children, whose immune systems are weaker than adults.

 In the end, it was a terrible accident that claimed many lives at once. Not long ago, I remembered witnessing a tragedy in a mountain village where I had passed through an outbreak of contagious “gangrene” (presumed dysentery) caused by actual drinking water, and eight children in the village died from the same symptoms.

 For those who live with beautiful smiles and pure hearts, the development of clean water and groundwater is an urgent reality, but what is the money of the bastard? The unfortunate realities of the past that I couldn’t help but make me feel sad about it.

 Time passed like a river, and another day was coming to an end, and fortunately, it had been a long time, and for the two legs, there was only the unplanned nostalgia of Long Mountain, which had come a long way from the good fortune of the road trip.

 Perhaps it was because I arrived with more difficulty, and even the sad warmth of the quiet mountain village embraced me snugly, and above all, the fresh air, though it was quite chilly, was bearable.

 After all, even though I came to the end of a long journey, I felt that it was an excellent choice, and that I had come to the right place, so I kept falling in love with Laos as it is now, with its people as it is, with its natural landscapes, and so much charm.

 Maybe I wasn’t a Laotian in my previous life, but as I fell into the night in the mountains and the roughness of Saisombun continued to count, I drove back here for about 10 hours.

 He said that he would have to cross and cross the mountain road to the northeast, which was even more rugged than today, but for now, he thought that another day on the small and warm Long Mountain would be just as beautiful, and it would be a shame to just leave tomorrow.

 Thinking that I wanted to hold on to the leisurely and nostalgic atmosphere of Long Mountain for at least one more day, I decided to indulge in the atmosphere of Long Mountain for one more day and exclaimed, “Eh! I don’t know.” It’s a matter of pocket anyway,
