A leisurely weekend afternoon alone
Holding back the midsummer heat,
That sky shooting at me
Filled entirely with dark clouds
Somehow, it feels like I can’t breathe.
I’ve been frowning all day long.
Should I just sleep as much as I want?
Trying hard, just like playing hide-and-seek
I burrowed into the bed,
But when I finally couldn’t sleep,
No wonder, I peeked out the window
Perhaps to the sky with tearful expressions
In fact, the emptiness is gone,
It seemed like they were expecting a coolness.
Whether you know my heart or not
Sunlight occasionally peeking out
Before I knew it, I kept drifting further away
Now it’s even gloomy.
No matter what, only the ears are pricked outside the cold window.
Hurry up and let it out with relief
It was as if they were waiting for some thunder or lightning.
My awkward heart
Filled with boring black heat all over
Burning with no regard for the place
Please, just pour out your stomach with satisfaction…
Now, in the rich aroma of coffee,
With a calm classical backdrop,
I set out on a journey into the books I cherished.
