Part 2
Like a flowing river

On the 76th day of my solo trip to Laos, please come to a low place!

Today, I walked 25 km from Yapong to Bonnea.

Today, the pain in the soles of my feet is feeling particularly painful. It’s not as far as usual, and the road is asphalt, so it’s okay, but as I walked all day on the road that was only downhill, I felt that my fatigue and pain were significantly increasing compared to other days.

I kept repeating the process of going and standing. From my experience, walking moderately up and down was not a balance between weight and weight, but since I only walked downhill all day,

In particular, the problem was that fatigue was concentrated in the big toe in the front part of the sole. Looking back, isn’t the best work of life in my life the same as it is now? While questioning, trying to make oneself successful is an expression of freedom in a courtiful way.

After all, I think the effect of our lives is simply to comfort such a low state and maintain a higher mental state, but even that was not easy, so we struggled in great competition.

I thought that my life was that I was satisfied for a while and tried to live my life with the luxury of letting myself restless and sometimes losing the true value of life. Such domination and submission, the gap in luxury according to the way of life,

It is balanced by the satisfaction of other happiness, and the mountains in front of me now also showed that there is not only a constant uphill climb to the top, but also a descent that goes down from the top.

I didn’t know when I would be going downhill, and the revelry at the top must have been an open-minded service that I didn’t know what was ahead, but no matter how well I climbed the mountain, if I couldn’t get down well, let alone the fatigue of climbing the mountain,

It is easy to roll down and fall shapelessly, or to sit down and turn into a stone on the spot. Life exists in a balance that must go down anyway, so that you can go down most wisely,

The fact that wisdom and strength should always be stored in store means that regrets in life can be reduced to a minimum. All the mountains I encounter on my journey now are all the things I climb and descend, and there is no error in my ascent and descent.

It was showing and teaching such an equation of life. Reminding me that the fatigue I felt on my toes and all the wounds on my toes proved that they were also made on the downhill, and so that there would be no more problems on the remaining trip,

Once again, I am reminded today that we need to adjust the balance of power in harmony and well in the ascent and down. Now that I think of it, I can finally realize how high the altitude of the ponsari is.

Anyway, it was almost lunchtime, so I had no choice but to take a break, and I felt like I had to find a place to rest. After passing through several remote houses, the village finally appeared.

It was a village connected to a long downhill road, and right behind the house, the cliff was dizzying, and just looking at it made me feel motion sick. However, I suddenly wondered why they were building a house and living in such a dangerous place.

Just looking at it really made me dizzy, but it seemed like there was no reason to live here other than the road and spring water coming out nearby, and it was a scene that I couldn’t understand at all.

Eventually, I saw a small hole-in-the-wall shop, so I decided to take a break, asked for a drink, and sat down on the threshold. However, in the house, small little guys sat in a huddle together, full of curiosity with eyes the size of royal bells.

What kind of cowboy is there in Laos? Everyone was looking at me with a look of intent. However, instead of giving her the drinks she ordered, the owner first handed her an unexpected chair and a water jug. Just looking at it, I must have looked tired.

In fact, it was a kindness that seemed to have read my heart, which was more desperate for water than drinks, so I accepted it gratefully. But when I tried to take a cool drink, it was hot water. I hesitated for a while, but even though it was a little hot, I boiled it with tea leaves.

It was a very famous traditional green tea that had been cultivated in this area for a long time. The teacup was not worth seeing, but I wasn’t fit to cover up cold or hot rice, so the taste and aroma in my mouth were so wonderful that I couldn’t drink it like a pair~even, a pair~even, or a pair, and there was no heavenly nectar water.

Before I knew it, no matter how much rain it was after a drought, I had already drunk more than a half-pot. I was a little embarrassed, but as I finally came to life, my eyes turned to the atmosphere of the house, which I was not interested in, and I was carefully examining the house here and there.

Right next to it, on the way to the door, I saw a jar that could only be found in Korea. I asked, “What is this?” and I said, no, well! It was called “Tong Som Pak (Lao kimchi barrel)”. When I opened the lid of the jar, it really contained our ‘white kimchi’.

When I asked, “Can I taste it?”, I nodded and said, “I’ll try it,” and when I tasted a piece, it was our ‘white kimchi’. When I said, “It’s delicious,” I was told to eat while spreading a plate.

When I looked for rice, they didn’t hesitate to do that and gave us their whole lunch bucket, and before I knew it, a nice lunch table was being set up. After all, the kind owner lady didn’t even fall short.

Before I knew it, I was putting a plate of wild vegetables with an unknown name on the table. It was truly an unexpected windfall. First, I took a piece of sticky rice and put it in my mouth, then stretched the kimchi with my hand and held it up.

Like children eating noodles, they stretched out their hands high, munched and swallowed them from the bottom, and sucked on the seasoning on their fingers repeatedly.

When I picked up a wild vegetable and put it in my mouth, the aroma was unique, but it was no different from our stinky greens. If I hadn’t tasted it, I would have regretted it. The herbs also stopped tasting, alternating between kimchi and herbs, and even drinking green tea, and was frantic.

I was just so voracious to eat. While eating, I was sure that this was Laos, but the atmosphere was like a rural village in Korea, with kimchi and wild vegetables. There was no need to explain how delicious it was.

A signal came down my throat that I was full of how much I had eaten, so I stopped my fingers and looked around, and I couldn’t help but feel a little sorry for the children who were staring at me curiously.

Yes, when I tried to pay for some food, he firmly refused, saying, “I didn’t give it to you for money.” While I was forced to go back and forth between gratitude and regret, I happened to remember the fresh cream bread I had prepared for lunch today.

I generously took out all five of them and told them to eat them while distributing them to the children one by one, but the owner, who had 10 steps, said, “Why don’t you eat if you’re hungry on the way? Do you give them children?” But I couldn’t back down any longer,

They forced them to hold them in their hands and even shouted, “Hurry up and try it” and “It’s delicious.” In fact, it was a high-quality bread that is hard to see in such a mountain valley, so the children started eating it while quietly noticing it, and it was delicious.

I was just grateful for the harvest, but fortunately, there was plenty of bread and I was able to serve one for the lady, so I was able to feel lighter at the lady’s kindness. So today, I learned to share beautifully, and I was able to change such a delicious lunch into a pleasant one.

Grateful that it was a lucky day, I added one drink to eat as I went, picked it up and paid the bill, and then left the hole shop full of regret, urging me to go on my way.
