I fell into the watercolor of the night sky
The stars and moon are so beautiful
Before I knew it, I was sitting on a branch of the Mekong
Waiting for lost time.
Even the lights of the city that are not dazzling
Innocence seems to teach you what to say
Seclusion, bringing out the same sensibility
It is approaching me.
Not yet cool, through the heat of the middle of the day
Even the wind that occasionally passes by
Exuding a sense of friendliness that is not awkward,
It conveys the warmth of the city.
The sound of a car running on the asphalt
I just pass by without any expression.
Where does my life begin and where will it end?
I don’t want to know anymore.
The breath of the Mekong that envelops Pakse
Feeling alive in my heart
It is only when small things are beautiful
I am only satisfied that I am standing here.
