(2) Thailand
Bangkok is a place with affordable prices and plenty of things to see and do. You can explore the sights on your own, go shopping at the night market, and spend a relaxing time enjoying the beach and natural scenery.
As a constitutional monarchy on the Indochina Peninsula in Southeast Asia, each tourist destination has a long history, and tourism infrastructure has been relatively well equipped for a long time, and it is popular because it is cheaper than developed countries, starting with food and accommodation.
However, due to the climate of Thailand, there is a lot of tropical temperature, humidity, and rainy season, so I prefer to go in winter when the temperature is low and there is no rain, especially in April ~May, which is the hottest time.
Still, Bangkok is a developed city, so compared to other Southeast Asian countries such as the Philippines and Myanmar, the air conditioning facilities are good.
Thailand is close to the equator, so big cities are hot even in winter, but sometimes it is cold in January and February, when the northern mountainous areas of Chiang Mai drop to 15 degrees Celsius, and Bangkok is cool in the morning
And since Thailand is a country where the practice of overcharging foreigners is very severe, if you want to buy something anywhere, such as shopping, it is better to get used to the price before buying, so you need to cut more than half off the initial price to know that it is a reasonable price.
In addition, Thailand, which is a paradise for motorcycles, has the second highest traffic accident death rate of 36.2 per 100,000 people, and more than 80% of traffic accident deaths are said to be caused by motorcycle accidents.
In addition, vaccination against malaria, cholera, typhoid, hepatitis A, and tetanus is recommended, and mosquito repellents are also essential.
And while security in Thailand is good, the border areas of Malaysia in southern Narathiwat, Pattani, Yala, and Songkhla are very dangerous because Muslim groups are rebelling for independence, so it would be best to pass by as soon as possible.
(2) 태국
방콕은 저렴한 물가와 다양한 볼거리와 즐길 거리가 있는 곳입니다. 혼자서 관광지를 돌아보며 감상하거나, 야시장에서 쇼핑을 즐길 수도 있으며, 해변과 자연 경관을 즐기며 여유로운 시간을 보낼 수가 있습니다.
동남아시아 인도차이나 반도의 입헌군주국으로 각 관광지 마다 역사가 깊어, 오래전부터 관광 인프라 등이 비교적 상당한 수준으로 잘 갖춰져 있으며, 더 더욱 선진국에 비해 음식값부터 시작해서 숙박비 등이 저렴하여 인기입니다.
다만 태국의 기후 특성상 엄청난 열대 기온과 습도, 그리고 우기가 있기 때문에 그나마 온도가 낮고 비가 안 오는 겨울에 가는 것을 선호하는데, 특히 가장 더운 시기인 4~5월은 피하는 것이 좋을 듯 싶습니다.
그래도 방콕은 발달한 도시라서 타 동남아시아인 필리핀이나 미얀마 등에 비해서 그나마 냉방시설 등이 괜찮은 편입니다. 그리고 더위가 나쁘지만은 않은 아토피 환자나 류마티스 환자, 계절성 우울증 환자 등 한국 겨울이 공포의 대상인 사람들에겐
1년 내내 더운 열대성 기후가 오히려 치유효과를 누릴 수도 있습니다. 그렇게 태국은 적도에 가까운 지역에 있어 대도시들은 겨울에도 덥지만, 간혹 1-2월에 북부 산간지역인 치앙마이 등은 15도까지 떨어져서 춥고, 방콕도 아침에는 선선함을 참고해야 합니다
그리고 태국은 외국인을 상대로는 바가지 요금 관행이 매우 심한 나라이기에, 쇼핑 등 어디서든 물건을 사려 한다면 되도록 물가에 익숙해진 후에 사는 것이 좋은데, 처음 부른 가격에서 반 이상은 깎아야 적정 가격임을 알아야 할 정도입니다.
이밖에 오토바이 천국인 태국은 교통사고 사망률이 10만 명에 36.2명으로 세계 2위로, 교통사고 사망자의 80% 이상이 오토바이 사고로 사망한다고 하는데 태국에서는 사람보다 차가 우선이기에, 더욱 조심해야 하며,
아울러 말라리아, 콜레라, 장티푸스, A형 간염, 파상풍의 예방접종이 권고되며, 모기 기피제도 필수라고 할 수 있습니다. 또한 에이즈 감염률이 아시아 1위이며 마약 투여를 하는 마약 중독자도 많은 탓에 성교와 마약은 절대 조심해야 합니다.
그리고 태국의 치안은 좋은 편이지만 나라티왓 주, 파타니 주, 얄라 주, 송클라 주 남부 말레이시아 국경지역은 이슬람계 민족들이 독립을 하겠다고 반란을 일으키는 곳이므로 굉장히 위험하기에, 가급적이면 오래 머물지 말고, 빨리 지나감이 옳을 것입니다.
